Rollston on unprovenanced inscriptions

THE ASOR BLOG: Using Inscriptions from the Antiquities Market: Polarized Positions and Pragmatic Proposals (Christopher A. Rollston). I agree with his conclusions and would put it perhaps a little more aggressively: unprovenanced inscriptions should be regarded as forgeries in the absence of strong positive evidence to the contrary.
